Candy Stripe outfit | life-in-resume

There is nothing more cute than candy stripe clothing. I think they add a sweet (no pun) detail to a seemingly plain outfit. The pastel shades of the candy stripe works well for spring and the bold ness of the candy stripe means it can be worn in summer.
I put this outfit together as quite a simplistic outfit because I didn't want it to be too over the top or faffy.
1. Candy stripe pinafore - topshop - £42
This pinafore is slightly pricey but is such a nice garment you can't help but want it. I can imagine all sorts of people being able to pull this off because as an outfit it has a new wave retro feel about it.
2. Roll sleeve t-shirt - new look - £4.99
These kind of basic tops are a staple I'm your wardrobe. These can be found from super markets or primark for less than £4.99 but seeing as it is a staple I though a more expensive one would mean you get your money out of it.
3. Cat eye sunglasses - forever 21 - £4.90
These are amazing value for such an on trend accessory. Cat eye is one of my favourite sunglass shapes and I think they work well with almost all face shapes.
4. White 1460 boot - Dr Martens - £90
These are the cheapest white boot doc martens I could find. I feel dr martens would work the best with is outfit, giving it a subtle punk/rock edge to it.
5. Spiral ring- h and m - £3.99
I couldn't not include something from h and m. There jewellery and accessories are on top point and are such amazing value for money.
