Back to school bag guide | life-in-resume

Going back to school isn't fun but there is nothing better than getting stuff ready for when you go back and one of the most important things is a bag. It can be difficult because there are so many out there and you want a bag that will last the whole year and will go with all or at least most of your clothing items. Another big part of bag buying is it has to be able to fit all of your stuff you need and the stuff you don't need.
So I've come up with a guide to what bags work well for school whilst looking cool and hopefully so,e saving you money in the long run.
1. Tribal messenger - h and m - £14.99
This bag is the smallest of all the bags I choose but I think this basis good value for money. It's made of a faux leather and cotton tribal print material that are durable and can be put through a lot of wear and tear. The tribal print adds a nice touch but could clash if you wear wearing another print but overall it's a nice moderate sized bag.
2.Mmmmellow backpack - blue banana - £39.99
Backpacks are one of the best bags you can use for school they carry a lot and now they come in cool patterns and variations. I think this bag is so cute and cool. The print is different and even though it won't go with every outfit you know you have a bag that may cost a lot but will last the whole year and longer and people will think you have a cool bag.
3. Postcard tote shopper - topshop - £15
I'm really liking the idea of using a tote shopping bag for a school bag. They are really good size and good value for money. Although they may not last year but for the price they are you can get a variety of colours and patterns to compliment outfits.
4. Grey studded bowler bag - new look - £24.99
This bag is more for someone that wants a 'fashion' kind of bag. Personally I don't love this bag and I wouldn't use this for school but over the past year being at school I noticed that a lot of people liked to carry this style of bag. The only thing I truly like about this bag is that is has a shoulder strap and a handle.
5. Laminated floral bird satchel - Yumi - £40
This is a kind of knock of Cath Kidson bag but I really like the print of the bag. Tripe strap is very sturdy and could be worn across the body or on the shoulder. A lot could fit in the bag but bit as much as some of the other bags I have chosen. Naturally if you are looking for a bag that can fit a lot in and be the least likely to break a backpack would be best.
6. Shoulder charm - Accessorize - £29
This bag is a really good sized shoulder bag. It would defiantly fit at least one a4 ring binder and more. The print is nice and it quite subtle and would clash with any outfit majorly.
7. Shadow view backpack - roxy - $45
I thought I would through in a bag that people in America could purchase or someone in England that would be willing to wait ages for shipping. Roxy make brilliant back to school bags, not just backpacks a wide variety and I would definitely check them out if you are finding it hard to find a back that would fit all your stuff in.
8. Alternative skull print backpack - blue banana - £15
This bag is a real bargain but I'm not sure how long it would last at this price. The print is amazing and would fit someone that has more of an 'alternative/emo' style.
9. High bury rose folded messenger - Cath Kidson - £45
This is the best value Cath Kidson bag I could find. If you wear looking for a well made designer school bag this is perfect. It has a really cute ditsy floral print that is very popular. This bag could fit an average amount of stuff in however wouldn't fit a folder meaning you'd have to carry it or have anger bag for them.

I hope this guide helps and you find a bag perfect for you.
