Although I don't typically create looks with being subtle in mind, I felt that for this look to be casual and perfect for a summer festival I would tone it down and use a mix of neutral shades and rustic vibes to create a more mature festival outfit.
White crochet cross back vest - Topshop (£22) - This crochet top is the perfect summery top, with the lightweight cotton it would be perfect in the summer heat and general heat of a festival. The cross in the back of the top gives it more detail along with the crochet finish at the bottom of the top.
Suede high waist shorts - H&M (£14.99) - Shorts always have been and seem to continue in being a summer festival staple item. Being made of a suede 'esk' fabric means that it adds more dimension to the outfit, the lace up corset detail in the front also ties in nicely with the cross in the back of the top.
Ankle sandals - New Look (£12.99) - These sandals are a complete bargain! Although not a typical shoe choice for a festival (or at least in England) but I felt as if the shoes worked really well for the simplistic look of this casual outfit. However changing these shoes up for a pair of wellies would look just as good for those festival vibes.
Felt floppy hat - Topshop (£28) - Practical and fashionable?! Whats not to love. Big floppy hats have been on the fashion scene recently and I think this hat went perfectly with this boho laid back festival look. With the black ribbon tying in perfectly with the black bum bag.
Black faux leather bum bag - New Look (£12.99) - Again bum bags are very functional for a festival and I would always suggest it (or a backpack). They work perfectly for carrying the basics into the festival areas unlike the huge bag fulls that us ladies tend to be lugging around.
Gold arm cuff - Accessorize (Was £8.00 Now £2.50) - Layering of jewelry has been big for this festival season but who really has the time to be backing all the fiddly things - this simple arm cuff just adds a bit of pop to the outfit in a simple way yet still giving the summer festival feeling. Also a great item to have in a jewelry for any Grecian trends that happen to come back into fashion.
Hope you enjoyed this outfit I created using high street items. If you'd like to see more festival looks with different vibes or for specific festival leave a comment or give this post a like. Thank you!
