Mint Green Outfit | life-in-resume

Pastels and summer go hand in hand so this summer I am going to be doing a series where i post 5 blog posts each being a pastel colour outfit (Blue, pink, yellow, lilac and green/mint). I hope that these posts will allow you to try out more pastel colours so you have the cute S/S trend that comes around every year.

I created this first outfit by putting not only the colour scheme (Mint Green) within it but also key pieces that are really on trend and will make the outfit that bit more current.

1. Embellished swing vest – Topshop - £30

This top is so perfect for any occasion, easy to be dressed down but also perfect for a night out with the girls! The sheer fabric makes it that much more delicate and perfect for any event you might need to go to. 

2. Pleated skirt – H&M- £24.99

This cute skirt is the most gorgeous mint colour that pairs delightfully with the embellished top. 

3. Studed leather clutch – River Island - £25

The studded clutch works with the heavily embellished top to add a theme through out the outfit which is really nice for the up and coming Christmas season where there are lots of chances to gem yourself up and get out there.

4. Gemstone sandals – George @ Asda– £12.00

Sandals defiantly fit more the summer style but this simple sandal could be replaced with some chunky shoes to add more of an edge to the outfit.

5. Cluster stud earrings – Forever 21 - £2.50
Any thing turquise i am all game. this ring is a really nice way of tying in the mint green colour for the whole outfit.
