Pastels and summer go hand in hand so this summer I am going to be doing a series where i post 5 blog posts each being a pastel colour outfit (Blue, pink, yellow, lilac and green/mint). I hope that these posts will allow you to try out more pastel colours so you have the cute S/S trend that comes around every year.
I created this first outfit by putting not only the colour scheme (Lilac) within it but also key pieces that are really on trend and will make the outfit that bit more current.
1. Lace blazer – George @ Asda- £14.00
Lace is the perfect pairing with this outfit - it adds a some detail to what could be seen as a pretty plain outfit but i think the lace will just add a little more interest to the outfit.

2. Sweetheart neckline playsuit by Rare – Topshop- £39.00
Playsuits are my weakness and this one is no exception. I cant help but imagine this garment being a wardrobe staple for so many years to come, it can be dressed up or down so easily making it effortlessly fashionable.
3. Lara ultimate cuff – Accessorize -£16.00
Going along with the pastel theme I thought this was a really pretty cuff that would bring some extra subtle colour into the outfit.
4. Orlay glitter blast ‘lilac’ – Boots - £9.50
Pastel nail polish is a staple for S/S and well anytime as it always works so lovely along with dark clothing as a pop of colour.
5. Suede sandals – H&M- £24.99
These heels are so classic and chic that would be a 2014 staple heel in any shoe collectors wardrobe.
