Pastels and summer go hand in hand so this summer I am going to be doing a series where i post 5 blog posts each being a pastel colour outfit (Blue, pink, yellow, lilac and green/mint). I hope that these posts will allow you to try out more pastel colours so you have the cute S/S trend that comes around every year.
I created this first outfit by putting not only the colour scheme (Pastel yellow) within it but also key pieces that are really on trend and will make the outfit that bit more current.
1. Roll sleeve printed bow top - New Look - £8
This top is so cute and ditsy which i think works well in summer time as it is a time where you can be cute and dress super girly without feeling about 10 years old.
2. Pastel yellow jeans - George @ ASDA - £17.99
This is a complete bargain price for a really on trend colour of jeans that can be brought out of your wardrobe every summer and even every season as it can be mixed with other pieces.
3. Black over sized bow - American Apparel - £12
Hair bows are really cute and are perfect for keeping hair out of your face in the summer.
4. 'Banana
split’ Models Own - Boots - £4
This is a perfect pastel shade of yellow and also so are the other colours in this range.
5. Black ballet pumps - H&M - £7.99
Any black simple shoe works perfect with this outfit and they are a staple in most wardrobes as they go with literally everything.
6. Redherring cut out satchel - Debhenams - £28
This bag is so gorgeous and just screams the pastel S/S trend and i love it. Although it would be an investment i think it would be a good investment.
