Bold print skater skirt | life-in-resume

I was recently in a local new look having a browse to make time pass as normally I'm not the biggest fan of the who. But on my one of  trip my auntie wanted to get me a gift for a good grade and I saw this skirt and it perfectly fitted my style. 

This skirt wasn't a new look item itself it is a smaller brand within new look called Cameo Rose. They have some lovely items in the whole collection that I think would work well for lots of different occasions and styles. 

Excuse the bad photography and hanger but this is the overall style of the skirt, it is heavy printed with a non repeated print. It has an elasticated black waist band which means it can be worn around the waist or on your hips. Preferably I would wear this skirt round my waist because I feel it would work better. 

Here's an up close picture of some elements of the print, it has a mix of cakes, fruit, jewels, shoes,flowers and randomly dressed girls. It also has a lovely water colour effect in the background on some areas which I feel ties it all together. 

This skirt cost £14.99. Which I think is good value for money seeing as it is a computer printed fabric and it made from a moderately strong material and it think can be won for a long time coming. 

When I wear this skirt I like to pair it with basic items so that the skirt is more of the focal point of my outfit. I would pair it with a black basic cotton loose top or a black spaghetti strap vest. This skirt looks good with black tights or without, I think they compliment the skirt well either way.
